Notes
'Cosimo Purple Red-White' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Cosimo Purple Red-White') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It sits low on the menu for deer. It grows fast into a clumping plant that is 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Cerise Queen yarrow, and Red fescue.
