Notes

'Cerise Queen' yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'Cerise Queen') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The flowers open bright cherry red and fade through glowing pink to light pink. Shear it back hard after the first bloom to keep it clean and encourage reblooming.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Blue Wonder cat mint, and Silver feather grass.
