Notes

'Côte d'Azur' autumn crocus (Crocus tommasinianus 'Côte d'Azur') is a bulb for rock gardens, woodland edges, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and sandy soil. It grows in a clumping habit and blooms in winter and spring. J. Snoek bred it. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Yellow trout-lily, and Sensitive fern.
