Notes
'Roseus' autumn crocus (Crocus tommasinianus 'Roseus') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, woodland areas, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade, average moisture, and most soil types. It grows in clumps and blooms from winter into spring. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Ruby Giant autumn crocus, Lenten rose, Common snowdrop, and Alpine squill.
