Notes
Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster franchetii) is a shrub for hedges and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 72 to 120 inches tall and spreads 48 to 96 inches, so give it plenty of room. Pink and white flowers open in mid summer.
Pairs well with Fountain grass, September Charm anemone, and Tickseed.
Native range
Southern China and Thailand.
