Notes

'Crown Royal' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Crown Royal') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. The royal purple flowers have white edges, a darker purple eye, and a yellow-green throat. They are fragrant and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.

Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
