Notes

'Cummins' tulip (Tulipa 'Cummins') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Dark violet blooms open from early to late spring. Plants reach 12 to 24 inches tall, so they work well in front of taller perennials. Vertuco B.V. bred it.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Angel Cheeks peony, and Paprika yarrow.
