Notes
Daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus) is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Yellow flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The clumps handle dry spells well, so you can leave them in place year after year.
Pairs well with Blue Ensign pulmonaria, Corsican hellebore, and Sweet box.
