Notes

'Dainty Maid' rose (Rosa 'Dainty Maid') is a compact shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The pink blend blooms are fragrant and attract bees. It flowers in late spring, again through summer, and once more in early autumn. Edward Burton Le Grice bred it in 1940.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Amsonia, and Gladiolus.
