Notes

'Day Breaker' rose (Rosa 'Day Breaker') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Apricot blooms open from early to late summer and have a sweet fragrance. Bees visit the flowers, and the upright plants have dark green leaves. Gareth Fryer bred it.

Pairs well with Butterfly bush, Culver’s root, and Japanese forest grass.
