Notes

Daylily (Hemerocallis citrina) is a perennial for garden beds, containers, and fragrant evening plantings along walkways and patios. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its fragrant, lemon yellow flowers open in the evening and close the next morning. It blooms from early to late summer, and bees visit the flowers. Deadhead to encourage more blooms.
