Notes
'Decamerone' tulip (Tulipa 'Decamerone') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms red from early to late spring and grows about 12 inches tall. The outside of each petal is a flame-streaked vermillion. Inside, the flower glows red with a bronzy black base edged in buttercup yellow.
Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Delphinium, and Singing In The Rain peony.
