Notes
'Destiny's Teacher' dahlia (Dahlia 'Destiny's Teacher') is a bulb with single white flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. The star-shaped petals are streaked with purple around mustard yellow centers, and bees visit the blooms. It flowers from early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn on plants about 24 inches tall. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Meadow sage, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Elfin mother of thyme.
