Notes

'Don Juan' lily (Lilium 'Don Juan') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant orange-red flowers have deep brown spots and open from early to late summer. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit them. P.J.M.Hoff introduced it in 1966.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Switchgrass, and Blue Mouse Ears hosta.
