Notes

'Durban' belladonna lily (Amaryllis belladonna 'Durban') is a bulb for borders, specimen planting, accents, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The large, rounded flowers are deep carmine-red with a white center. They are fragrant and draw butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Paprika yarrow, and Hansa rose.
