Notes

'Leydenburg' belladonna lily (Amaryllis belladonna 'Leydenburg') is a bulb for borders, specimens, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. The large pink flowers have white centers and are fragrant, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Once settled, it handles dry spells well.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Paprika yarrow, and Thalia daffodil.
