Notes

'Durban' canna (Canna 'Durban') is a perennial for borders, containers, accents, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. It blooms in summer and again in autumn. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Montbretia, Red-hot poker, Coneflower, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
