Notes
'Echo Jasmine Duet' Carolina jessamine (Gelsemium sempervirens 'Echo Jasmine Duet') is a vine for pollinator gardens, privacy screens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late autumn, and the fragrant flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates salt.
Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Autumn fern, and Beautyberry.
