Notes
'Elegant Feather' roundleaf thoroughwort (Eupatorium capillifolium 'Elegant Feather') is a perennial for borders, rain gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast to 3 to 6 feet tall and has fragrant, greenish-white blooms that draw butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Cut back the tall stems if you want a tidier look.
Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Ironweed.
