Notes

Late boneset (Eupatorium serotinum) is a perennial for meadow gardens, woodland edges, and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open in early to late autumn and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. It grows by rhizomes, so give it room to spread. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Smooth hydrangea, and Gentian.
