Notes

'Elvira Aramayo' rose (Rosa 'Elvira Aramayo') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows 18 to 30 inches tall with a bushy habit. Fragrant, medium red flowers open in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. P. J. Looymans bred it in 1922.

Pairs well with Obedient plant, Queen of Night tulip, and Butterfly bush.
