Notes

'Embarrassment' lily (Lilium 'Embarrassment') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 24 to 48 inches tall and stays narrow, so you can tuck it into tight spots. Pink, fragrant blooms open from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Little Lime panicle hydrangea, Sarah Bernhardt peony, and Kentucky bluegrass.
