Notes

'Sarah Bernhardt' peony (Paeonia 'Sarah Bernhardt') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large, double, rose-pink flowers are fragrant, but the heavy blooms bend the stems, so give it support. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Polish Spirit clematis.
