Notes

'Empress of Ireland' daffodil (Narcissus 'Empress of Ireland') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The creamy white blooms are fragrant and reach about 16 inches tall. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Blue fescue, and Shirley Temple peony.
