Notes

'Ena Harkness' rose (Rosa 'Ena Harkness') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Albert Norman bred it in 1946. The medium red blooms are fragrant and attract bees. A dose of potash fertiliser 2 weeks before flowering helps strengthen the neck.

Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, False indigo, and Casa Blanca lily.
