Notes
European chain fern (Woodwardia radicans) is a fern for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It is evergreen, so it keeps its fronds through the year. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches.
