Notes
'Evercolor Everlite Variegated' sedge (Carex 'Evercolor Everlite Variegated') is a grass for borders, shade gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It stays evergreen, so it adds color all year, and birds and butterflies visit it.
Pairs well with New England aster, Smooth hydrangea, and Japanese forest grass.
