Notes

'Fire Chief' coral bells (Heuchera 'Fire Chief') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, containers, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Pink and white flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Foam flower, and Christmas fern.
