Notes

'Firebird' canna (Canna 'Firebird') is a perennial for borders, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. It blooms in summer and again in autumn, and it draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Red-hot poker, Coneflower, and Montbretia.
