Notes

'Firepot' dahlia (Dahlia 'Firepot') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The waterlily blooms have yellow centers with orange-red flame tips. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. Keep it away from dogs and cats, since it is toxic to both.

Pairs well with Vermillionaire cuphea, Lemongrass, and Blue Mouse Ears hosta.
