Notes

Five spot (Nemophila maculata) is an annual for borders, containers, and annual beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist, loamy soil. Its white flowers have a purple spot at the tip of each petal. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. It grows quickly and easily, especially with afternoon shade, and it reseeds readily.

Pairs well with Ageratum, Spanish bluebell, and Francee hosta.
