Notes

'Flamboyant' daffodil (Narcissus 'Flamboyant') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant yellow-orange flowers open in spring and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. J.L. Richardson bred it.

Pairs well with Lily of the valley, Lamb’s ear, Blue fescue, and Sarah Bernhardt peony.
