Notes

Florida royal palm (Roystonea regia) is a tree for low maintenance and xeriscape use. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The straight, pale-gray trunk usually bulges at the base, and the smooth green leaf bases are distinctive. Birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Cabbage palm, Dahoon, and Pink banana.
