Notes

'Florosa' tulip (Tulipa 'Florosa') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The dark green blooms open from early to late spring. P.B. van Eeden bred it. The plant stands about 12 inches tall, so it fits well at the front of a bed.

Pairs well with Valerie Finnis Armenian grape hyacinth, Groenland tulip, and Album grape hyacinth.
