Notes

Fort miller clarkia (Clarkia williamsonii) is an annual for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. White, red, and purple flowers open in spring and again in summer, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Mango Tango French marigold, Old Mexico zinnia, and Red fescue.
