Notes

'Old Mexico' zinnia (Zinnia haageana 'Old Mexico') is an annual for borders, containers, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows fast and tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Spider flower, Snapdragon, and First Knight fountain grass.
