Notes

'Fountain' rose (Rosa 'Fountain') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Crimson, fragrant blooms appear in late spring, again from early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Mathias Tantau, Jr bred it in 1971.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Creeping thyme, and Japanese forest grass.
