Notes
'Frankly Scarlet' coneflower (Echinacea 'Frankly Scarlet') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Orange-red flowers open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer tend to pass it by. It is also drought tolerant and fragrant.
