Notes
'French Kiss' Lenten rose (Helleborus 'French Kiss') is an evergreen perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It blooms in winter and spring, so it brings color when little else is in flower. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It stays 12 to 24 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Lady fern, Western sword fern, and Wood lily.
