Notes

'Friend Jack' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Friend Jack') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Its red blooms have a green throat and a light scent, and they appear in spring and again in summer. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Nodding onion.
