Notes

'Frosty Blue' whale's tongue agave (Agave ovatifolia 'Frosty Blue') is a succulent for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its short, broad leaves look dusted with flour and end in a sharp spine. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It stays smaller in a container, and you can shelter it from winter rain.

Pairs well with Lime Zinger sedum, Elfin mother of thyme, and Star of persia.
