Notes

Garden tulip (Tulipa gesneriana) is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are scarlet with a yellow base. They open from early to late spring, so you can plant them in groups for a bright spring show.

Pairs well with Asiatic lily, Moonbeam coreopsis, and Little bluestem.
