Notes

'Gay Challenger' daffodil (Narcissus 'Gay Challenger') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The white flowers have tightly frilled orange centers and a sweet scent. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. J.L. Richardson bred it.

Pairs well with Bartzella peony, Blue fescue, and Nelly Moser clematis.
