Notes
'Gingerland' angel wings (Caladium bicolor 'Gingerland') is a bulb for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The leaves mix green, pink, red, and silver with white splashes, and the clump grows 12 to 24 inches tall.
Pairs well with Blue star fern, Evergold sedge, Kahili ginger, and Dragon Wing Red begonia.
