Notes

'Glacier Blue' Mediterranean spurge (Euphorbia characias 'Glacier Blue') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Flowering lasts for months from early spring to early summer. Cut each flowering stalk to the base when the bracts begin to wither, and leave the stems that have not flowered yet for next spring.

Pairs well with Stonecrop, Hardy geranium, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
