Notes

'Golden Empress' daffodil (Narcissus 'Golden Empress') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The rich yellow flowers have a golden cup with a widely flanged rim, and De Graaff Bros bred it.

Pairs well with Foam flower, Coral Charm peony, and Blue fescue.
