Notes

'Golden Lion' daffodil (Narcissus 'Golden Lion') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant golden yellow flowers have a corona with a lightly rolled rim, and they attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. E.H. Krelage & Zn. bred it.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Sarah Bernhardt peony, and Big bluestem.
