Notes
'Golden Tycoon' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Golden Tycoon') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The golden orange flowers have a greenish-gold throat and a sweet scent. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Bridal Bouquet peony, and Blue Muffin arrowwood viburnum.
