Notes
Golden weeping willow (Salix pendulina) is a tree for rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. It blooms from mid to late spring into early summer. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows tall and wide, so give it plenty of room.
Pairs well with Buttonbush, Cinnamon fern, and Big bluestem.
