Notes

Weeping willow (Salix babylonica) is a tree for specimen planting, rain gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and spreads wide, so give it plenty of room. It sits low on the menu for deer. Butterflies and bees visit it.

Pairs well with Paperbark maple, Sedge, and Culver’s root.
